    An 8-day personal challenge trekking the historic military trail from Ower's Corner to Kokoda Village. We walk shoulder-to-shoulder with our PNG friends to honour the Diggers & Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels who defended our freedom during WW2.

  • New adventure Nepal - Hiking & Yoga

    You are welcomed to Nepal by the colour and bustle of the medieval capital; Kathmandu. The city's squares and architecture are richly inspired by Indian Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism. Life here is lived on the streets providing endless interest as we explore the warren-like old town.

    From Kathmandu we will travel to the lakeside town of Pokhara in central Nepal, known as the gateway to the Annapurna Ranges and part of the Himalayas - a perfect adventure escape. 

    The hike is 5 days of easy to moderate hiking, safe for anyone who is moderately fit. Our host, Greg, as a qualified yoga instructor, will offer daily yoga classes, no doubt followed by the optional beer on the tea house terrace!

  • New adventure Japan - Kumano Kodo Plus Off The Beaten Track

    Join us in Japan for a full-on adventure!

    Starting in the Kii Peninsula we will tackle the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage hike then spend a couple of days in Kyoto before heading off the beaten track where so few western tourists venture to the island of Kyushu (pronounced Koo-Shoo).

  • New adventure A Very Artsy Bondi to Manly Hike

    We are heading down to Sydney to test out the new Bondi to Manly Walk. This walk has only been open a few weeks, it is designed to link all the existing coastal and harbour-side walking tracks between Australia's two iconic surf beaches.

    It has it all, from beach walking to cliff tops, bushland to botanical gardens, not to mention walking across another iconic landmarks; the Sydney Harbour Bridge and give a wave to the Opera House as we pass by.

  • New adventure Japan - Off the Beaten Track

    Starting in Kyoto, the favourite city of many people who travel to Japan, we'll take our time to travel around to some of the iconic places with our tour guide and have free time to discover for yourself some of the hidden gems this city has to offer.

    From Kyoto we fly off the beaten track to the island of Kyushu, where only 0.5% of their tourists are from English speaking countries.  This place has so much to offer, so join us to discover it before the rest of the western world jump on board too!

  • New adventure Japan - Kumano Kodo 8-Day Adventure

    For over 1,000 years people from all levels of society, including retired emperors and aristocrats, have made the arduous pilgrimage to Kumano. These pilgrims used a network of routes, now called the Kumano Kodo, which stretched across the mountainous Kii Peninsula.

    The walk itself was an integral part of the pilgrimage process as they undertook rigorous religious rites of worship and purification. Walking the ancient Kumano Kodo is a fantastic way to experience the unique cultural landscape of Kumano's spiritual countryside.

    Explore the absolute best of Tuscany and Umbria on foot; starting with the medieval and Renaissance hill-top towns of Siena and Pienza, on to historic Perugia and ending in iconic Florence. Nestled in the green heart of Italy. We’ll walk through landscapes of rolling hills, past soldier-straight lines of cypress trees, through vineyards and olives groves.

    From Florence, we head to Lake Como, the third largest of the Italian lakes and arguably the most stylish of them all. Located at the foot of the Alps, it offers the picture-perfect escape. 

  • Queen Charlotte Track, NZ

    From the Marlborough Sounds, we’ll complete a three-day 50km hike along the stunningly beautiful Queen Charlotte Track. Its remoteness and solitude offers an abundance of secluded bays, islands, coves and sheltered waterways. Then we’ll try our hand at sea kayaking and finish off our week with an fun bicycle (or roadster) ride and a tour of the world renowned Marlborough wine region.
