We cannot tell you what a fantastic time we had on our trip with Icon adventures. We could not have been taken better care of!! It was an amazing journey, where we not only discovered Ethiopia & the diverse landscape & culture, but also made lifelong friends with Israel & Mr Nine. Israel went out of his way at all times to do as much for us as possible. We felt it was the best organised trip we have been on - the flights & follow up care  before, during & after the trip were impeccable.

The itinerary was great and covered everything I was keen to see and do.  It was a thrill to see the winged Ethiopian cherubs (Debre Berhar Selassie Church) at first hand.  James is a fabulous guide and it was wonderful to have Israel along for the entire trip - he smoothed the way.  I also appreciated having local tour guides in each city.

This experience was one of the greatest journeys of my life. There was never a dull moment; from cheap beers to sunrise at the top of Africa, viewing animals in their natural habitats to playing with students at St Jude’s. Plus great company and laughs shared amongst not only the group but the locals, tour guides, bus drivers and students. Thanks Chris for a terrific trip. I really enjoyed myself and you did a fantastic job organising and conducting the expedition.

Greg did a fantastic job. His knowledge of the history of the track is a great asset and he puts in context all the different parts of the track and what happened in 1942. I really enjoyed this as did others on the trip. Also Greg had a great relationship with Beri, the head porter, and I'm sure our experiences on the track were enhanced by this close and friendly relationship.
