Mercato Coffee
Icon Fair Trading brings you coffee from its birthplace
Ethiopia Sidamo is Arabica coffee of single origin grown exclusively in the southern regions of Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee.
Ethiopia Sidamo is valued for its deep spice and chocolate-like taste and floral aroma. It is highly prized by coffee buyers from all over the world. Our Sidamo coffee is available in medium roast to compliment it's natural flavour and aroma.
Our coffee is grown without pesticides or artificial fertilisers and is sourced through the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange, which ensures a fair price for farmers.
Mercato coffee takes its name from the largest open-air market in Africa, which covers several square miles of the city of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. The primary merchandise passing through the Mercato is locally-grown agricultural products — most notably coffee.
Enjoy the aroma and taste of Sidamo coffee in your home or café. Our roasted coffee beans are delivered directly to you in resealable pouches with a built-in breather to maximise shelf-life.
